Keep me where the light is

This past Friday I went to Korea Town with an old friend, and met a new one :) I’ve been dying to go back to Korea Town for ages, and I finally went. 

Our first stop was a store called S&T. They had 2 store locations, this one had goodies like posters & plushies. They had a whole wall of Kpop & of course I bought one of my lovely GD&TOP :) My friend Joanna originally took the last poster, but when she found out I wanted it as well she gave it to me cause she goes to Ktown more than me. It was at this store that I hot syrup from my pancake dripped all over my hand. What a fail, but thank God Carl had some hand sanitizer. 

We also ventured just off Bloor Street, which is the main street of Korean Town & we found random boutiques like this one. Loved the old vintage feeling to it. 

We also found a comic book/manga store called Beguiling. It was literally 2 floors of nerdiness. My inner nerd kind of freaked out a little. 

After browsing we finally ate dinner at a Korea/Japanese restaurant. All the restaurants we went to were so packed. I was quite surprised at how busy Korea Town was at night. I loved the feeling of it though. Busy streets at night, with great food every where & really nice/funny store owners :) This meal was less than $10. Totally worth it! Sat down, stuffed out faced, chilled & had epic talks about Kpop. This is where Carl & I became close friends considering it was our first time meeting. 

When dinner was done I was convinced to go back to Hedo Kwaja bakery to get my walnut cakes again! The first time I them was when I was in Ktown last, which was all the way back in August. Sadly they didn’t have my favourite red bean, instead they had the potato which was just as good. 

The night was overall amazing. Great food, with good friends. Definitely want to do it again :)
